Grand Master on TV

The Grand Master MWBro Selwyn Cooper was recently invited by Gerard Smith to participate in a friendly television interview to discuss some general aspects of Freemasonry. This took place 13 April and an edited segment is to be aired on Monday 18th April.

For Brethren interested in viewing the interview, details are:

Name of the Show: "The Beat Goes On'
Date: Monday 18th April
Time: Starts at 9.30pm
Channels: 1) Sky 89 (Stratos), 2) Triangle, 3) 'Free To Air' Channel 21

The show itself runs for a full hour, and the Grand Master, as a 'Special Guest' will be on at approx 9.50pm.

This show reportedly has a dedicated audience of "Baby Boomers", regular viewers being those in their 50's & 60's. Of note WBro Barry Rushton Dist GDC from the North Shore is also a regular guest on this show, so it may be of interest to Brethren.

As an aside, I was also interviewed a fortnight ago for a show on the same channels called "In Conversation with Noel Cheer" this will be broadcast sometime over the next three months and I will advise you once I know the exact broadcast details.

The Longest Morning Tea Just got LONGER!

Lodges in Wisconsin USA are going to join in with our Longest Morning Tea on 30 July as per below:

MW Grand Secretary:

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Lowell Scott, PM and current secretary of Milwaukee-Harmony Lodge #261 F. & A.M. of Wisconsin, USA. My Worshipful Master and I read your article "The Freemasons Longest Morning Tea 2011" with great interest. We decided it sounds like a wonderful idea and we would appreciate the opportunity to join the Lodges in New Zealand on 30 July 2011. We would like to make your longest morning tea even longer by extending it into the State of Wisconsin in the United States. Our plan, if approved by you, is to join with the other lodges (14) in our district in Southeastern Wisconsin and enjoy morning tea as you will be doing in New Zealand. We will submit photographs to you after the event to show you how we participated.

Awaiting your response and thank you for your consideration.

Fraternally,

Lowell Scott

So, what is YOUR Lodge doing for The Longest Morning Tea?
