Could someone please tell me more about the Knights Templar side degree ?
And are there any other side degrees apart from Knights Templar, Rose Croix or Operative Masons ? If so, could you please tell me about those too...

The Knight Templar side degree is obtainable in a Priory, after first having obtained your Royal Arch. It consists of the KT degree and a Knight of Malta degree. The ritual is based on that originally used for initiating a new knight in the crusades (approx 1118-1307).
The degree also leads on to a separate order of the KT Priests.
Other degrees you do not mention include:
Cryptic Council - based on how the word lost in the MM degree came to be where it was found in the RA;
Secret Monitor - based on the brotherhood of David and Jonathon;
Red Cross of Constantine - Christian ritual based on the times of Constantine;
Royal Order of Scotland - two degrees set in rhyme;
Allied degrees - a collection of 5 waif degrees;
SRIA - masonic Rosecrucianism
