I have joined this forum in the hope that I can find out some more information about freemasonry. I have always been interested, but have never had the opportunity to look further. My Grandfather was a freemason, and I always hoped that I would be asked to join the order, but I left my home town of Whakatane when I was 16 to live in Christchurch. I have been involved with several service clubs and more recently I was a member of Rotary during my 3 year posting with Air New Zealand in Sydney. I worked for 27 years in Christchurch before moving to Aurstralia and now Fiji.
My wife and I (and 8 year old Daughter) will be moving back to Christchurch in about 2 years time. I am not sure if there are any contacts here in Fiji, but any assistance would be appreciated. I am very interested in any information or assistance I can get.

Hello Clifford, and welcome to the forum. Our Grand Lodge website has some very good explanatory material and I recommend that you have a look, if you haven't already done so. You can also request further information and/or express your interest in joining by visiting this page. The Grand Lodge team will certainly be happy to assist you.

Best wishes,

Tony

Thanks for your comments Neil and Tony. I am indeed based in Nadi, and I don't think there is any activity on this side of Fiji. I will look through the data That you have suggested, and will probably make contact next time I am back in Christchurch. Although I am working in Fiji, I manage to get home 5 or 6 times a year.
