Welcome to the Freemasons New Zealand Forum.
If you just want to read the postings here you are welcome to do so as a visitor, but in order to post to these forums you must sign up as a member. If you sign up the forum staff will never abuse the information you provide. The staff need your email address in case we need to contact you, or send you a new password if you forget yours. Junk mailers and other miscreants cannot get your email address from this Forum unless you make it publicly available. The staff here promise not to abuse your trust in giving us any of your personal details.
Sign-up is very straightforward, but here's some help and advice if you're unfamiliar with forums like these.
To sign up, scroll up to the top of this screen and click on the "Register" link. You will then see some Terms & Conditions, and advice on getting the best out of these forums. The Terms and Conditions are mainly to preserve harmony in the discussions. Please take the time to review them. Our moderation policies may be different to the ones you have experienced elsewhere. At the bottom of the page you then click on a link to acknowledge your agreement to the terms & conditions.
You will then see the registration page.
At the top of the Registration page you will be asked to specify a username. We prefer you to use your own name rather than a "screen name", "handle" or nickname, but that's a preference, not a rule.
You also need to specify a password, and an email address.
The other items on the sign-up screen in the "Profile Information" and "Preferences" are for advanced users and you can ignore them if you wish.
Next, just scroll down to the bottom of the screen, click on "Submit" and you will immediately be made a member of this Forum with the ability to post to the forums.
The "Just Arrived" section is for new joiners to say hello, or to practice using the facilities here. If you want to practice using the facilities by posting test messages in the "Just Arrived" section you are welcome to do so.
Enjoy yourself here, and if you have any problems or queries don't hesitate to ask for help. You can contact the admin staff by posting messages in the forums, or email us privately at
