Masonic Trusts Print

There are a number of Masonic Trusts throughout New Zealand.

Although these organisations are closley affiliated with Freemasonry they are not owned by Freemasons New Zealand.

Below is a list of New Zealand Masonic Trusts:

Northland District Masonic Trust

Northland District Masonic Trust offers housing for the elderly. It has two villages in Whangarei, two in Dargaville and one village in Wellsford, comprising 87 units in total. The Trust is a charitable body corporate with perpetual succession, incorporated on 06 April 1967 under the provisions of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, number 212029. The Trust is also a registered charitable entity No CC2825T under The Charities Act 2005 and three of the Trust’s villages are also registered under The Retirement Villages Act 2003.

Northland District Masonic Trust villages offer comfortable housing for older people who are lonely or on their own but who remain independent and in reasonable health. They provide security, companionship and mutual support, at the same time allowing residents to retain their independence and privacy. (They do not provide rest home or care facilities.) Subject to availability, there are two types of housing available – rental units and occupational right units.
