Christchurch Hospital -Thank You Freemasons
Dear Sheila
On behalf of the Lipid & Diabetes Research Group, Christchurch Hospital we would like to offer our grateful thanks for the donation which enabled us to purchase two new BP Tru Vital Signs Monitors. This essential monitoring equipment was generously funded by Lodge Idris 452 United Forces 245.We are very grateful to Graeme Cleland for his support of our application.
Our research group comprises a range of health professionals with a particular research focus on new treatments for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. The new automated monitors are portable and allow for accurate recordings of blood pressure and heart rate, and can be programmed for multiple measurements, making them ideal for use in clinical studies undertaken by the group.
These new monitors have replaced older and less efficient recording equipment, and are currently in use in two cholesterol studies and two diabetes treatment studies.
We are very pleased to be using the new monitors, and they will be well utilised in other future clinical studies.
Once again, thank you very much for your generous donation to our research group.
Yours sincerely
